Stumbled in to this series (in an extremely literal way) and kind of enjoyed it. Only 2 episodes so far, but it looks good. If you can't figure out a place to get the series...I would be ashamed of your nerd skills.

Wait! There is one thing. I have a week's vacation burning a hole in my pocket (literally, it disappears after June) so I need to know if there's a good week/end for me to visit North. Let me know.

As I type this, I am multitasking: playing Jump Ultimate Stars, Ready the Pokemon instructions, and re-downloading AIM. I figure, it's been too long since I've talked to everyone on a regular basis.
Also, I refuse to be the guy character, because he has a stupid hat.
EDIT: Oh yes, I've taken to the new hobby of collecting One Piece Gashapon. ...It keeps me busy.

...Wish it was Gainax, but I can't complain. At least SOMEBODY has the beautiful idea to get the real series. Maybe now stupid people at Cons won't look at me like I'm eating kittens when I tell them One Piece is Super-Ultra-Win-God-Awesome. (Stupid people = people who glean all anime information from what Cartoon Network force-feeds them)

Okay, go see Grindhouse. I want to talk about something from it, and it won't be totally kickass if you haven't seen it yet.
Okay, 3.5 hours later.
I want to talk about the fake trailers. Fake trailers for movies that rock so hardcore they're on "300" levels. ("This is SPARTA!") They include Nicolas Cage's best acting attempt to date, as well as Simon Pegg (of Shaun of the Dead fame) killing people. That in of itself gets a gold star from me, but what trailer struck out at me: Machete.
The trailer floored me, because it made me realize something: here is a movie, which DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST, that I am more excited to see than any movie being released in the next, oh, year. I know that modern cinema is dying. Indie films are still out there, keeping the dream alive, but Hollywood is nearly dead to me. The only actors I still respect are Sam Jackson (I respect him for not acting just for a paycheck, but acting for the experience) and Bruce Willis (Who remains the ultimate badass) and a handful of others (Most of them not American, except Willem Dafoe, who's just funny)
Now don't get me wrong, I will still suffer through many movies this year (Ocean's 13 pops immediately to mind, as I cling on to the desperate hope that they forget about the second movie entirely) and I might find I enjoy some of them. (I've heard good things about The Lookout, and Hot Fuzz is guaranteed gold)
Saddened by my realization of a stark future where Paris Hilton stars in movies (already happening, start the Doomsday clock back up) and Anthony Hopkins might finally be retiring (at the ripe old age of 175, by the looks of it) I went on the Grindhouse Wikipedia page, because, well, Wikipedia is a drug. Behold: a shining ray of light in the darkness: Machete is going to be a real movie, because apparently I'm not the only one preparing for the end. It will be about a mexican guy getting revenge. With a machete. Revenge for what? Eh, doesn't matter.
So back from me being all Doomsday-ish, I was playing Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction yesterday for the first time in ages. And guess what.
